dreamaastrid1. How often do you attend live theater performances?
At the Renaissance Faire there are live productions on most stages. However, at the pubs it is mostly the bands and musical performers. So during August, September, and October we see live performers most weekends. And we have tickets to see a musical this weekend at the college I work at.
2. Local community theater or professional theater productions?
The performances at faire are professional. The performances at the college I work at are either student productions or community theatre.
3. Which do you prefer: dramas or musicals?
Comedies and musicals.
4. Have you ever participated in a theatrical production, whether acting, singing or tech?
Not since elementary school for acting. However my daughter performed on stage in middle school and was in the orchestra pit for the Nutcracker Xmas show.
5. What was the last play or other staged production you attended?
At the Renaissance faire at the Globe Theatre I watched a cast performance. And Dave & I are planning to go see the musical 'Margaritaville' this weekend at a matinee on the Essex campus.
